You combine strong hands-on mechanical engineering /strong , strong strong problem-solving skills /strong , and strong technical leadership /strong , actively shaping both our products and the way we engineer them. /p h3 What You’ll Do /h3 ul li Own mechanical system and subsystem development across the full product lifecycle. /li li Design durable mechanical solutions for strong fixed, portable, and mobile cUAS systems /strong . /li li Develop housings, structures, and mounting concepts with focus on strong thermal performance, weight, stiffness, and environmental robustness /strong . /li li Apply strong structural and thermal simulation /strong (e.g. FEA, thermal analysis) to guide design decisions and validate concepts. /li li Take a strong strong hands-on role /strong in prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements. /li li Solve real-world hardware problems by identifying root causes and implementing practical, robust solutions. /li li Work closely with electrical, RF, and systems engineers on strong mechanical-electrical integration /strong . /li li Collaborate with manufacturing partners on strong DFM/DFA /strong , material selection, surface treatments, and production processes. /li li Support qualification activities including strong temperature, shock, vibration, and environmental testing /strong . /li li Participate in strong design reviews /strong , contribute to engineering guidelines, and continuously improve mechanical design standards. /li li Act as a strong technical mentor /strong , sharing knowledge and experience within the engineering team. /li /ul h3 What You Bring /h3 ul li Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /li li Several years of experience in strong mechanical design and system integration /strong for complex hardware products. /li li Strong background in strong mechanical design for harsh or regulated environments /strong . /li li Experience with strong structural and thermal simulation tools /strong (e.g. SolidWorks Simulation, Ansys, or comparable). /li li Proficiency with strong CAD tools /strong (e.g. SolidWorks or equivalent) and production-ready technical drawings. /li li Strong strong hands-on skills /strong and confidence working with workshop tools and prototypes. /li li Practical understanding of strong manufacturing processes /strong and design for production. /li li Proven strong problem-solving mindset /strong , comfortable debugging real hardware issues. /li li Experience supporting strong knowledge sharing, reviews, or mentoring /strong within an engineering team. /li li Clear communicator who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and technical depth. /li /ul p nbsp; /p p strong Work Location: /strong This role is based out of our Kassel office and follows a hybrid schedule.
