Iurii Shaulov

I am an experienced architectural draftsperson and CAD/BIM modeller with experience of architectural design. Work experience: 2017-2022 I was an Upwork freelancer and had multiple architectural and drafting jobs. I worked in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and had clients from different countries. During this time I completed my own architectural residential project in Canada under contractor supervision. 2017-2025 I worked in KNR Design Studio (Los Altos, CA) as a remote assistant, doing multiple drafting, modeling, and rendering jobs, permit set preparation; scheduling and architectural MEP schemes with preliminary calculation. 2025-present time I returned to Upwork and focused on production drawings and BIM modeling, including scan-to-BIM workflows, added Rhino to my toolset, and switched to Rhino-Revit bridge as my preferred toolset for connecting the conceptual stage of the project to the production stage. I completed several projects for the clients in the field of computational design, as I am actively studying Grasshopper and BIM automation tools. Education: I completed 3 years of architectural bachelor's studies in Saint-Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and obtained a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.
