What to watch out for
- SVG has no notion of model/paper space — you get the geometry, not the sheet.
- Hatches are exported as their boundary geometry.
- If you need a fixed-size raster instead, use DXF to PNG.

Questions
Why SVG rather than PNG for a drawing?
SVG keeps the geometry as vectors, so a site plan stays readable when a reader zooms in. PNG bakes it to pixels at one resolution.
Can I edit the SVG afterwards?
Yes — it is plain XML. Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma all open it, and you can restyle strokes with CSS if you embed it in a page.
Does text come through as text?
Single-line text and most MTEXT come through; complex formatted MTEXT may be simplified.
