Frequently asked questions

Where do these prices come from?
They are TaskBider estimates derived from rate ranges on our own listings, reported offers and public marketplace data, reviewed quarterly. Unit prices are hourly bands multiplied by typical hours per deliverable. They are budgeting benchmarks, not quotes.
Why are offshore prices so much lower?
Local salary and cost-of-living levels, not skill. A drafter in Cairo, Casablanca or Lahore working to ISO layer standards produces the same DWG; what differs is timezone overlap and familiarity with your local drawing conventions, which is why a paid test sheet matters.
Should I buy per hour or per deliverable?
Per deliverable once scope, standard and inputs are fully defined, because it caps your exposure. Per hour for messy inputs and exploratory work. Many buyers run a paid hourly test, then fix a unit rate for the rest.
