- Practise layout and plotting until a correctly scaled PDF is muscle memory.
- Take the official practice test to calibrate pace before paying for the real exam.
Is it worth it?
The clearest value is for junior drafters with no client references yet: it gives a hiring manager one verifiable signal. Mid-career drafters usually get more out of adding Revit or Civil 3D than certifying the AutoCAD they already use daily.
