- 1Drop the .glb file above.
- 2Download the .gltf — it is formatted JSON you can open in any text editor to inspect nodes, meshes, materials and extensions.
- 3Edit material names, node names or extension settings directly if that is why you unpacked it.
- 4Re-pack to GLB in your authoring tool or with the glTF-Transform CLI when you are done.
注意点
- The geometry buffer is embedded as base64, which makes the .gltf roughly a third larger than the original GLB. That is expected for a self-contained file.
- Nothing is re-encoded: meshes, textures, animations and extensions are carried across byte for byte.
- Draco or Meshopt compressed buffers stay compressed, so the viewer still needs those extensions.

Why unpack GLB at all?
To read or edit the scene graph by hand — fixing material names, stripping a node, or checking which extensions a supplier's asset depends on.
Is any quality lost?
None. The JSON is reformatted and the buffer re-encoded as base64; the actual data is identical.
