Convert OBJ to DXF in your browser

1. 1Drop the .obj file above. Large meshes take a moment — the parsing happens on your machine, not on a server.
2. 2Download the DXF and open it in AutoCAD with the units set to match the OBJ authoring units (OBJ carries no unit declaration).
3. 3Use 3DORBIT and SHADEMODE to confirm the mesh arrived the right way up; Y-up authoring tools land on their side in a Z-up CAD drawing.
4. 4For a 2D deliverable, set a plan view and run FLATSHOT or SECTIONPLANE to generate clean linework from the mesh.

أمور يجب الحذر منها

• Triangles and quads convert directly; faces with more than four vertices are triangulated so nothing is dropped.
• Materials, textures and UVs are not part of DXF geometry, so an accompanying .mtl file is ignored.
• A mesh is not a solid. If you need a watertight solid for machining, convert through STEP in the originating CAD package instead.
• Very dense scan meshes produce huge DXFs — decimate in MeshLab or Blender first if the drawing becomes unworkable.
